Flipgrid assignments can only have a single total point value even if you are requiring students to make multiple recordings in the topic.
How to use flipgrid with canvas. To do this click on settings from the courses section. Simply navigate to canvas and it will allow students to join the flipgrid assignment. In a canvas course create a new assignment note. Select settings from the navigation menu on the left and then the apps tab at the top. Click add app and a dialog will appear on screen.
Once you have integrated flipgrid and canvas like we showed you in the first few steps you need to add flipgrid as a third party application to your canvas course. Move flipgrid from the disabled section to enabled section and save. In the settings menu go to the apps tab by clicking on it. Search for flipgrid and click add app. Go into the canvas course where you want to use flipgrid and click on settings click on apps and search for flipgrid.
Use as a graded assignment by specifying flipgrid as the external tool submission type in a canvas assignment. Select settings from the course s left navigation and then select the apps tab. Add the flipgrid app to your canvas course. From settings choose the navigation tab at the top and refresh your screen. Type flipgrid into the search box and then click on flipgrid.

If you have more than one instructor facilitator click on the flipgrid link in the course navigation menu and click on add copilot to add another person who can administer the flipgrid grids in the course. Select your course on canvas. Return to canvas and paste the shared secret.
Students must start within the canvas app. Download the free flipgrid app first. In a separate browser window or tab log in to canvas and navigate to your course. Navigate to your canvas assignment and tap the green plus. The apps section is where third party apps are added to canvas.
